ANNUAL MEETING
FIRST NOTICE

To: All Members, Shipyard Condominium Association, Inc.

The 2019 Annual Meeting and Board Election of Shipyard Condominium Association, Inc., will be held at:

10:00 AM, Friday, February 1, 2019, at the Tropic Cinema- Carper Theater, 416 Eaton Street, Key West, Florida. Please also note that the Annual Social will be on Thursday, January 31,2019, between 5:00PM and 7:00PM, at the Shipyard pool area.

The purpose of this meeting is to elect Directors and to conduct such other business as may lawfully be conducted.

The purpose of this FIRST NOTICE is to advise you of the time, date, and place of the Annual Meeting and election and to inform you of the process for running for the Board of Directors. Subsequent to this FIRST NOTICE, you will receive a SECOND NOTICE which will specify the agenda and advise you of other important information concerning the Annual Meeting.

QUALIFYING FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

To qualify for the Board, you should be an owner or the designee of a corporate or other entity owner (i.e.: trust, partnership, LLC, etc.). To qualify you must also on or before Friday, December 21, 2018, 10:00 AM assure receipt by the Association of the enclosed

You may also submit an INFORMATION SHEET for dissemination to the membership. The INFORMATION SHEET should be no larger than 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches - single sided, containing your qualifications and/or platform for office, and should be received by Thursday, December 27, 2018, 10:00 AM.

Per condominium law:
(1.) Nominations will not be accepted from the floor the day of the meeting, (2.) a committee meeting to verify qualified voters may be held at 8:00AM the day of the Annual Meeting.
